Agent setup: authorize Sight MCP and ask your agent to call get_tracking_setup. It configures this integration automatically.

Shopify

Theme snippet — not a Shopify Partner app. Shopify app review / theme app extensions need a Partner account this repo doesn't have, so the install path is the same one merchants already use for Plausible/Umami: drop a snippet into the published theme.

Install

  1. In Shopify Admin: Online Store → Themes → … → Edit code.
  2. Under Snippets, click Add a new snippet, name it sight.
  3. Paste snippets/sight.liquid.
  4. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with the project's API key from Sight.
  5. Open layout/theme.liquid, and just before </body> add:

  1. Save. Visit the live storefront once, then check Sight → Overview.

Checkout Extensibility / Thank-you pages are a separate Shopify surface and are not covered here — this snippet only runs on the Online Store theme. Purchase revenue still comes from a Stripe/Lemon Squeezy/Polar connection on the Sight dashboard, not from Shopify checkout pixels.

What this records

  • Pageviews on every theme-rendered storefront page, including Shopify's section-rendered client-side transitions (history.pushState).
  • The <noscript> pixel for JS-off / crawlers that fetch images.
