Agent setup: authorize Sight MCP and ask your agent to call get_tracking_setup. It configures this integration automatically.

Squarespace

Install Sight analytics on a Squarespace site by pasting the tracking snippet into Squarespace's Code Injection panel — no plugin exists for Squarespace, so this is a doc + snippet repo, not installable code.

Part of Sight, split across repos under the sightapp org — see sightapp/sight-backend's SPEC.md for the full picture, and tasks/plan.md there for how this repo fits the site-integrations roadmap (Track B).

Install

  1. In the Squarespace dashboard, go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection.
  2. Paste the snippet from snippet.html into the Footer box (loads right before </body>, applied site-wide).
  3. Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your project's API key from the Sight dashboard.
  4. Click Save at the top of the Code Injection page.

What this records

  • Pageviews on every page, including Squarespace's own client-side page transitions (the script hooks history.pushState/popstate).
  • The <noscript> pixel as a fallback for visitors with JavaScript disabled, and for AI crawlers that fetch pages but don't execute JS.

Verify it's working

Visit your live site once, then check Sight dashboard → Overview (or GET /api/v1/query/overview) — a pageview for the path you visited should appear within a few seconds.
