Agent setup: authorize Sight MCP and ask your agent to call get_tracking_setup. It configures this integration automatically.

Wix

Install Sight analytics on a Wix site by pasting the tracking snippet into Wix's Custom Code panel — no plugin exists for Wix, so this is a doc + snippet repo, not installable code.

Part of Sight, split across repos under the sightapp org — see sightapp/sight-backend's SPEC.md for the full picture, and tasks/plan.md there for how this repo fits the site-integrations roadmap (Track B).

Requirements

  • A Wix premium plan (Custom Code isn't available on the free plan).
  • Your site must be published with a connected domain.

(Wix Help Center)

Install

  1. From your site's dashboard, go to Settings → Custom Code (under "Development & integrations").
  2. Click + Add Custom Code.
  3. Paste the snippet from snippet.html, replacing YOUR_API_KEY with your project's API key from the Sight dashboard.
  4. Set placement to Head.
  5. Set it to load on all pages, and each time the page loads (not "once per visitor session") so SPA-style navigations still count.
  6. Give it a name (e.g. "Sight analytics") and Save.

What this records

  • Pageviews on every page, including Wix's own client-side page transitions (the script hooks history.pushState/popstate).
  • The <noscript> pixel as a fallback for visitors with JavaScript disabled, and for AI crawlers that fetch pages but don't execute JS.

Verify it's working

Visit your published site once, then check Sight dashboard → Overview (or GET /api/v1/query/overview) — a pageview for the path you visited should appear within a few seconds.
