Self-hosting and development
Hosted Sight uses https://api.usesight.dev. API URL configuration is optional in the integrations.
Endpoint overrides
Set the integration's apiUrl, api_url, or SIGHT_API_URL only when targeting your own backend. For local development the API commonly runs on http://localhost:8090.

Use HTTPS public origins in production. Do not infer OAuth issuer or callback origins from untrusted request headers. Apply the backend's 006_oauth.sql migration before enabling remote MCP. Use a strong JWT_SECRET; it also signs domain-separated collection keys.
Local stdio MCP
The legacy Go stdio server is available in the sight-mcp repository for developer use. ANALYTICS_API_URL defaults to production; that legacy transport still uses ANALYTICS_API_KEY. The hosted remote endpoint uses OAuth and needs no manual key.
